With the plethora of sports that comes along with the spring season, shedding light on the lesser talked about sports has become even more important. Both Crescent Valleys Golf and Tennis teams rounded out the year with impressive seasons. The boys golf team was led by three varsity seniors Cole Rivers, Leif Blickenstaff, and Phillip Weiss. These boys led their team to multiple triumphs headlined by their first place finish at the Regional Championship. They capped off their season with a 5th place finish in the State Finals. They achieved this placement despite trials faced by their players due to weather conditions and unexpected player performance. Similarly, both the boys and girls tennis teams faced tribulations during their season. The girls welcomed a new head coach (Dr. Lin) and the boys embraced their new assistant coach (Dr. Curtis). Their previous state championship girls team faced multiple injuries and overcame this, as both the teams won first place in the District Championships. Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in these spring sports for the amazing seasons.
