Can you tell the difference between a freshman and a senior? Is there an obvious contrast between sophomores and juniors? Let’s see how well you know the grades at Crescent Valley. I have interviewed one random person from each grade at our school, but can YOU tell which one is which?

1. Let’s get to know our first mystery person. Her favorite restaurant in Corvallis is Baguette, and her favorite song is Cardigan by Taylor Swift. She likes cheese on her pizza more than any other pizza topping. She enjoys spending her free time playing basketball, reading, and playing badminton. This person likes to wear Nike shoes, and, in her opinion, the best day of the week is Sunday. She could be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior. It’s up to you to guess which. 

2. Our second person prefers to eat at the Bodhi Bakery downtown, and he listens to Travis Scott. He struts the halls wearing Nike shoes as well, and loves Saturday. In his free time, our anonymous friend 3D prints and plays video games. Sausage is his favorite pizza topping. Now that we’ve gotten to know this person, do you think you know what grade he is in?

3. Time to meet the third secret fellow. He enjoys reading, making things, and playing video games any chance he gets, and loves to eat at La Roquita. When it gets too quiet, he fixes the mood by listening to Billy La Bufanda 3, and his favorite pizza topping is bacon. His favorite day of the week is Tuesday, and he has supported Flojos as the best shoes as long as he has lived. Do you know this person? Or maybe you can figure out if he’s in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade…

4. Last but not least, you’ll find our final mystery person also really likes Nike shoes. Her favorite day of the week is Friday, because who doesn’t like knowing that the weekend is just a day away? Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is her favorite restaurant in Corvallis, and when she’s not playing volleyball, she enjoys playing pickleball, or driving to the coast to watch sunsets. Her favorite music artist is Zach Bryan, and her go-to pizza topping is Tomatoes and basil. Do any of these answers cause you to believe she’s in a certain grade?
